I was expecting a wealth proyramming information and examples on the peculiarities of the CE platform so that I wouldn’t have to learn things the hard way. The book also does not go into a lot of depth about the architecture of windows CE.
The second edition of this book is written in a highly approachable manner that doesn’t make sweeping assumption of the readers programming experience level. Doug does a great job of not only explaining what XYZ API call is used for, but what all the parameters mean and the options available.
